Arizona adult education programs provide English language acquisition, adult basic and secondary education, and citizenship instruction.
Arizona currently requires adult education instructors and administrators to obtain an Arizona Adult Education certificate within 60 days of hire. The certificate requires a bachelor’s degree or higher, an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, and other application requirements.
English language educators may also find opportunities with community organizations, private language programs, international education organizations, refugee and immigrant-serving organizations, tutoring programs, and other educational providers.
